Save the Children and Modernizing Foreign Assistance Network (MFAN) co-hosted a side event, Local Engagement in USAID Policies: Local Listening Session, during USAID's Local Capacity Strengthening Forum in October 2024.
Participants from across 34 countries, as well as a local and national actor response panel, led by Dr. Aurélien Atidegla (Civil Society Alliance for Intensification Nutrition in Benin) and Dr. Moses Isooba (Uganda National NGO Forum) helped to inform USAID’s new guidance for consulting local and national actors (LNAs) during the creation of USAID's development and humanitarian policies.
